Security, privacy and control

Your portfolio data is the most sensitive thing you hand to a piece of software: names, addresses, bank transactions, contracts. Here is where it lives, who can see it, and what Fynn is not allowed to do on its own.

Where your data lives

The database and the application run in data centres in Germany — the database in Frankfurt, the application in Vercel's fra1 region. Traffic is encrypted with TLS throughout, and the database is encrypted at rest.

What never happens without your approval

Anything that costs money or creates a legal obligation is prepared and then waits: contractor instructions, payment reminders, rent increases, terminations, offers and rejections to prospective tenants. Fynn puts the draft in your approval queue and tells you — in chat or on WhatsApp. Only your yes releases it.

That tenants know who they are speaking to

On the phone, Fynn introduces itself as an AI assistant at the start of every call. Article 50 of the EU AI Act requires this as of 2 August 2026 — and it is the precondition for tenants trusting the channel at all. You see the exact wording before launch and can adjust it.

That you can retrace every step

Every action Fynn takes is logged: what triggered it, what it was based on, who approved it. When a tenant or your accountant asks, the whole sequence can be traced.

What you get from us before the pilot

Before the first real workflow we put the contractual basis in writing and walk through which data Fynn needs for each job. What you have to provide and what we deliver is covered in the first call.
